Top surgery can cost up to £8000 with a private surgeon, but the wait for surgery on the NHS can be long and unpredictable. By going private my brother is guaranteed a timeframe for treatment and has more control over the whole process (e.g. by choosing his surgeon).
Binding the chest as a substitute for top surgery can cause multiple health issues including chest pain, respiratory issues and poor posture as a few examples.
This is why it is so important for top surgery to be accessible for trans masculine people, and why I'm working so hard to raise money for my brother who has been binding for over 8 years now and has spent years suffering physical pain from the process.

I'd also like to thank everyone who has booked a tattoo or bought a print for this cause so far, it really means so much to us! My brother is currently a broke animation student studying in London - he is so talented and I'm incredibly proud of him!

All proceeds from the sales of this product will go directly to Luke's surgery fund, any excess that may be raised will be donated to the UK based trans charity Mermaids!
